Potomac Pathways Wilderness Journey is being led by a crew consisting of two licensed therapists (Chris Peckham, LCPC and Nate Luongo, LGSW), a seasoned wilderness guide (Jed Brensinger, MS), and our awesome peer mentor and wilderness first responder, Spencer Brothers. The program began with a weekend becoming immersed in backcountry skills as instructed by Jason Drevenak of The North American Bushcraft School in Hedgesville, WV. And then, the group took to the Shenandoah River in canoes for a multi-day canoe and camping trip. Up next-- backpacking on the Appalachian Trail! And-- woven throughout-- the evidence-based Seven Challenges adolescent substance abuse intensive outpatient treatment program! WOW! Stay tuned for stories of-- personal growth and transformation!
That's right people! Our second annual trip down to North Captiva Island, in the Gulf, off the coast from Ft. Myers, Florida. Again this year, we have our own house on the beach. Our house has it's own pool and hot tub. Is that a good thing? Hmmm.... You betchya! But we'll be spending most of our time on the beach, parasailing etc. A great way to boost your recovery and have one heckuva great time! Click here for more info!

We currently have a unique intensive outpatient program for teens and young adults with "emotional dysregulation" plus a substance use disorder. But this is something new-- an "outpatient" level of care program that meets fewer times per week. The program is intended as continuing care for young people who have already established a period of sobriety / recovery, and need continuing care after completing IOP or residential treatment. Starts in April-- conducted by our intensively-trained DBT Team of clinicians!
